Steel Hearts is created in conjunction with SNK through an exclusive license for Metal Slug 1.

1.1 BLOCKCHAIN DATA

When you interact with the Steel Hearts smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain, certain information is recorded publicly and immutably on-chain. This includes your wallet address, transaction history, and mint timestamps. This data is inherent to blockchain technology and is not collected or controlled by us. Anyone can view this information on the public blockchain.

1.2 INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

We may collect your Discord username or handle if you voluntarily join our community channels or participate in giveaways, events, or Proof of Reading reward programs. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to mint.

1.3 INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, physical address, government-issued identification, or financial account information. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services on steelhearts.io at this time. If this changes, we will update this policy accordingly.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the limited information available to us for the following purposes:

To facilitate minting of Steel Hearts NFTs.
To administer Proof of Reading rewards and community events.
To communicate with community members through Discord.
To verify eligibility for giveaways, airdrops, or promotional distributions.
To improve and maintain the Steel Hearts ecosystem.

3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances: (a) when required by law, regulation, or legal process; (b) to protect the rights, property, or safety of VoyceMe, our users, or the public; or (c) with service providers who assist in operating the Steel Hearts ecosystem, subject to confidentiality obligations. Blockchain data is publicly accessible by nature and is not subject to this restriction.

4. DATA RETENTION

Blockchain data is permanent and immutable by design. We cannot delete, modify, or remove on-chain transaction records, wallet addresses, or mint receipts. Off-chain data such as Discord handles collected for community purposes will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

5. SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect any information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases. We will never ask you for your private keys or seed phrase. If anyone claiming to represent Steel Hearts or VoyceMe requests this information, it is a scam.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Steel Hearts is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has interacted with our services, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove any off-chain information.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at steelhearts.io and announced in our Discord. Your continued use of the Steel Hearts ecosystem after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Steel Hearts NFT collection, webcomic, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by VoyceMe ("we," "us," or "our") and accessible at steelhearts.io. Steel Hearts is created in conjunction with SNK through an exclusive license for Metal Slug 1. By connecting your wallet or interacting with the Platform in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including any laws relating to digital assets, cryptocurrency, or blockchain technology.

2. THE STEEL HEARTS ECOSYSTEM

2.1 NFT COLLECTION

Steel Hearts NFTs are digital collectibles minted on the Ethereum blockchain. Each NFT is minted as a unique on-chain asset. Steel Hearts NFTs are digital collectibles. They are not investments, securities, or financial instruments.

2.2 WEBCOMIC AND PROOF OF READING

The Steel Hearts webcomic is part of the ecosystem. Users may earn Proof of Reading rewards by engaging with the webcomic. The structure, availability, and mechanics of Proof of Reading rewards are subject to change at our discretion.

2.3 NOT A VIDEO GAME

Steel Hearts is an NFT collection and webcomic created in conjunction with SNK through an exclusive license for Metal Slug 1. While Steel Hearts draws from the iconic Metal Slug universe, it is not a video game. The current experience is centered around collecting, reading, and community participation.

3. MINTING AND TRANSACTIONS

All minting transactions are executed on the Ethereum blockchain and are final and irreversible. You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient ETH in your wallet to cover any associated network fees. We are not responsible for failed transactions, network congestion, wallet errors, or any loss of funds resulting from user error or blockchain issues. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed, refunded, or modified by us or anyone else.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

Crypto is volatile. Prices go up, prices go down, sometimes they go sideways and nobody knows why. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Steel Hearts NFTs are digital collectibles, not investments, securities, or a replacement for your 401k.
The value of NFTs and tokens can fluctuate significantly or drop to zero. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities despite our best efforts to audit and test them.
Regulatory changes in your jurisdiction may affect your ability to hold, transfer, or use digital assets.
You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys. Lost keys cannot be recovered by us.
Blockchain networks may experience congestion, outages, or forks that are beyond our control.

Do your own research. We are not financial advisors. We just make cool Metal Slug stuff. And no, we are not going to rug pull.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 OWNERSHIP

Steel Hearts is created under an exclusive license from SNK for Metal Slug 1. All intellectual property rights in the Steel Hearts brand, webcomic, artwork, smart contract code, and related materials are owned by VoyceMe and/or SNK, as applicable. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property ownership to you.

5.2 NFT LICENSE

When you mint or acquire a Steel Hearts NFT, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except in connection with the sale or transfer of the NFT itself), royalty-free license to display the artwork associated with your specific NFT for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not grant you any rights to the underlying intellectual property, the Metal Slug brand, or any commercial exploitation rights. You may not use Steel Hearts artwork to create derivative works, merchandise, or any commercial products without our express written permission.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or interfere with the smart contract, mint mechanism, or any part of the Platform.
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Steel Hearts or VoyceMe.
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain an unfair advantage during the minting process, unless such tools interact with the smart contract in a standard manner.
Engage in wash trading, market manipulation, or any deceptive practices involving Steel Hearts NFTs.
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of VoyceMe, SNK, or any third party.

7. THIRD-PARTY SCAMS AND IMPERSONATION

The crypto space is full of scammers. We will never ask for your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet password. We will never DM you first asking you to connect your wallet to a third-party site. Our only official channels are steelhearts.io and our verified Discord server. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from phishing attacks, fake mint sites, impersonator accounts, fraudulent airdrops, or any third-party scams of any kind. If someone contacts you claiming to be Steel Hearts or VoyceMe outside of our official channels, assume it is a scam.

8. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY AND DOWNTIME

We do not guarantee that steelhearts.io, the mint page, or any related services will be available at all times or without interruption. The Platform may experience downtime due to server issues, maintenance, blockchain network congestion, DDoS attacks, or other technical problems beyond our control. We are not responsible for any losses, missed mint opportunities, or any other damages resulting from the Platform being temporarily unavailable.

9. DISCLAIMERS

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE VALUE, UTILITY, OR FUTURE AVAILABILITY OF STEEL HEARTS NFTS.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOYCEME AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE PLATFORM; (D) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT; OR (E) THE FLUCTUATION IN VALUE OF ANY DIGITAL ASSETS.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoyceMe and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at steelhearts.io and announced in our Discord. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you disagree with any changes, your sole remedy is to stop using the Platform.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
